Whats Client Say

“Unbelievably Amazing”
This has to be our favourite place visited so far in Kerala. The family are welcoming without being intrusive. The food is abundant, delicious and the best we have tasted on our trip so far and surroundings are lush and spotlessly clean. There is strong wifi, AC if needed and comfortable areas for lounging overlooking the garden. Mathew is happy to share stories and history of Kerala and the family all speak good English. There are walks of all lengths over rice paddy fields and an early morning canoe trip along the backwaters on offer which is peaceful and serene with lots of birds including many varieties of kingfisher. Easy to reach out of Alleppey by local ferry at Rs14 each, I am so glad we chose this rather than a rice boat cruise - the experience is richer and more personal. Don't miss this chance to experience Kerala backwater life.

“Excellent Homestay with a very welcoming family”
We stayed at the beginning of our travels in November 2016, and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in asia! Stayed with Matthew who was a great host and very welcoming to his home. His mother's cooking was delicious and we had an excellent cooking class with her too. This homestay is a lovely get away in Kerala; peaceful walks around the island, can kayak around too!
Would definitely recommend!

“Wonderful Homestay”
The Kerala backwaters are just magnificent and nestled within them are these beautiful homes. Lovely decor, comfortable rooms, and some of the best home cooked food I had in all of India. This is a perfect base for meandering around the backwaters or just putting your feet up in comfy rattan chair on the front porch. A great experience. Please keep in mind this is NOT a hotel. You are a guest in someone's home so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot.

“The dream”
This place is the dream. Stunning location right by the river, wonderful welcome, fantastic food. We stayed for three nights but could easily have wiled away a week or more… The house is beautiful and very comfortable, in a wonderful, serene location a short stroll from rice paddies and winding waterways. Faultless.

Accommodation

FoodThe house is situated by the river bank. We have a beautiful and well maintained garden around and a small garden pool in the open courtyard. The house is perfectly designed in order to get plenty of ventilation and sunlight.

We have an organic kitchen garden with seasonal vegetables, bananas as well as coconuts and most of them used in the kitchen every day.

Double/Twin rooms provided are all bath room & toilet attached which also give good ventilation and view to the river or the garden. We maintain the rooms spotlessly clean and the housekeeper is available all the time in need of service such as changing the bed spreads and towels. Wi-fi internet facility available for 24 hours.
